These terms explain how Artisan Walks website orders, handmade production, payments, sizing, delivery and customer responsibilities are handled.
Last updated: August 6, 2026These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Artisan Walks website and to orders placed through the website, WhatsApp, email, showroom or another channel confirmed by Artisan Walks.
By using the website, submitting an order or making payment, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms together with the Refund Policy and any product-specific conditions shown before purchase.
Artisan Walks may offer Ready-to-Wear, Made-to-Order, Design Your Own, bespoke and other handmade leather products.
Ready-to-Wear products are already completed or available from stock. Made-to-Order and custom products are produced after order confirmation according to the approved design, size, material and options.
Product availability, prices, customization choices and preparation estimates may change without notice before an order is accepted.
Leather is a natural material. Grain, shade, marks, texture and colour absorption may vary between hides and between different parts of the same hide.
Because products are handmade, small differences in stitching, finishing, patina, sole edge, shape and placement may occur. Reasonable natural and handmade variations are not considered manufacturing defects.
Website photographs are provided as a close visual reference. Screen settings, lighting and material availability can cause differences between the displayed image and the finished product.
Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website. Shipping, duties, taxes, customization charges and other costs may be added where applicable.
Ready-to-Wear orders normally require full payment. Made-to-Order, bespoke and Design Your Own orders normally require the advance amount shown at checkout or confirmed by Artisan Walks.
Any remaining balance must be paid before dispatch unless a different arrangement is confirmed by Artisan Walks in writing.
QR, Raast, bank or wallet payments remain subject to manual verification. Submitting a payment screenshot does not by itself confirm payment or acceptance of the order.
An automated website message or email confirms that your order submission was received. It does not always mean the order has been finally accepted.
Artisan Walks may review product availability, measurements, customization, payment details, shipping restrictions and other information before accepting the order.
We may reject or cancel an order where information is incomplete, payment cannot be verified, the requested design is not practical, material is unavailable, the destination is restricted or there is an obvious pricing or technical error.
The customer must choose the size carefully and provide complete and accurate measurements for custom sizing.
Where requested, measurements may include foot length, width, instep, ball girth, heel girth, ankle, calf, foot tracing, photographs or notes about fitting conditions.
Artisan Walks may provide guidance, but the customer remains responsible for the accuracy of measurements supplied remotely.
Fit problems caused by incorrect size selection, inaccurate measurements, missing information or undisclosed fitting needs are not treated as manufacturing defects.
Production and dispatch times are estimates. Handmade work may be affected by material availability, design complexity, measurement confirmation, workshop workload, holidays, quality checks, courier delays and events outside our reasonable control.
Where a delay occurs, Artisan Walks will try to provide an updated estimate. A delay does not automatically create a right to cancel a custom product after production has started.
Order changes must be requested as soon as possible and are subject to approval.
Changes requested after material purchase, cutting or production begins may be refused or may require additional payment and additional production time.
Cancellation rights depend on the order type and production stage. Custom, Made-to-Order and personalized products may become non-cancellable and non-refundable after work or material preparation begins.
Shipping dates are estimates and courier delivery is controlled by the relevant carrier after dispatch.
The customer must provide a complete and correct delivery address, phone number and any information required by the courier or customs authority.
International customers are responsible for destination-country duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, permits and import restrictions unless Artisan Walks confirms otherwise in writing.
Contact us promptly if a parcel appears lost, damaged or incorrectly delivered.
Inspect the parcel and product promptly after delivery.
For a damaged parcel, incorrect item or possible manufacturing defect, contact Artisan Walks as soon as possible and preferably within 48 hours. Keep the original packaging and provide clear photographs or video.
Do not wear, alter, repair or send the product to another workshop before Artisan Walks reviews the issue, because doing so may affect the available remedy.
Returns, exchanges, repairs and refunds are governed by the separate Refund Policy.
Ready-to-Wear products and custom products have different eligibility conditions because Made-to-Order and personalized products are produced specifically for the customer.
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, submit false information, interfere with website operation, copy protected content for commercial use or use the website for unlawful activity.
We may restrict access, remove content or cancel suspicious activity where necessary to protect Artisan Walks, customers or the website.
The Artisan Walks name, logos, website design, product photographs, text, videos, shoe designs and other content are owned by or licensed to Artisan Walks unless stated otherwise.
No content may be copied, reproduced, sold, republished or commercially used without written permission, except where the law allows.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Artisan Walks is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from website use, courier delays, customs action, customer-supplied measurements, improper care or use outside the intended purpose.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Artisan Walks may update these terms when business practices, services or legal requirements change. The updated version becomes effective when published on this page.
The terms in effect when your order is accepted generally apply to that order unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.
